Screen wash jets

Hi All,
I'm just wondering if anyone else on here have had any problems with their screen wash jets. A small amount of water is released to the screen but hardly enough to make it effective. I've done the usual, e.g. uncoupled the pipe to the jets to see if any blockages are there but can't see anything amiss. Does the X1 have jets at the end of the translucent pipe as well as a motor in the screenwash container?
As a novice I'd really appreciate any advice as the MOT is due soon and it will no doubt fail because of this.

Check the filters are not blocked.  They are often in the pump mounting.
