I have a cracked glass on the front drivers side fog light. The bulb is ok but I'm told it will fail its MOT because of this, due in July. I'm told that replacing the unit is a 'big job' and will cost up over £200. Having looked, access is poor and will require the removal and replacement of various plastic covers around the front wheel arch. Has any one carried out a fog light replacement? (not just the bulb, the complete light unit). Is this a DIY job. Any advice appreciated. Car is X1 E84 12 plate sDrive20d Eff. Thanks.
