Bulbs ordered from that place now. Should be good to go soon. Thanks all for the suggestions.

I hated the yellowish lights (my opinion only) and fitted the LED bulbs for my Angel eyes and they dont flicker or strobe at all!

These are the ones: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SA:GB:1123

I also bought a set of 7000K HOD Xenon bulbs fromn Alltronix for my headlamps http://www.alltronix.co.uk/index.php?ma ... x&cPath=62

Both look quite nice together.

Finally got the bulbs today. There seems to be some wiring in the box as well, is that required?

I have not opened the X5 up yet to look but for those that have done it already, saves me the trouble of working it out :)

I think the control check flashes are cool.

I have been called childish on more than one occasion though.

Just ordered the set from ebay as recommended by Roy - looks identical to the HID4U set.
I use my sidelights as daytime running lights most of the time in London anyway on the basis that anything that helps me be seen (particularly by dozy pedestrians) is useful.
For £30 or so, it seems like a good upgrade for reasonable cost.
I'm assuming that they are plug n' play but interested to hear if there are issues fitting them.

No. I think that is just an extension lead. I didn't need them on mine.

I just fitted them. One side - 20 seconds, the other side a real pig.

There are two screws in each fitting, and on one of them they just stuck out too far so you could not get the fitting in. I had to remove one screw in the end so it fitted now at least. Will contact the company and see what they suggest.

Looks good though, did not see any flashing when switching them on.
