New to X5
Re: New to X5
Year? Exact model? Audio/Nav option fitted?
Some years and versions definitely had the loom in place even if no changer fitted.
Have a look in the near side rear cubby hole for a pair of small connectors. I think one is power (two pin) and one audio/control/data bus (6-pin - I think). It's been a while since I had mine. I think both plugs are white ??? :-[

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Re: New to X5
Sorry, it's a '56 model sport 3.0d (November 2006) e53, sat nav with bluetooth connectivity etc.
Re: New to X5
In that case it almost certainly does.

Re: New to X5
It has headrest mounted tv's and a single disc dvd player in the boot, would they have used the connectors for the autochanger for this or are my cables likely to be still there in the boot?
Re: New to X5
Can anyone help on this subject? Really don't fancy paying bmw dealer/stealer prices to fit an autochanger. On the left hand side rear of the car there is bottom upwards..... dvd player for rear seats, dvd drive for sat nav and then on top of that there is a silver metallic box with bms part numbers on
Re: New to X5
I think the silver box is the bluetooth module.
