First service

Post by allforus » Wed Mar 25, 2015 9:41 pm

How easy it is for a dealership too let its self down guess when you pay up front for servicing you get a second class service

Car returned not washed not hoovered out and with greasy paw prints on the bonnet and wing

You would think it was a second hand car not a £50 k motor

Take it back and demand it is done properly...

Hoovering and wash debateable, but the grubby had prints a definite nono..
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

From my experience, when they wash it , they use Truck Wash or Traffic Film Remover (TFR), that takes every last trace of polish off, and then the car has to be re-polished, if that's what you do...........  .

I feel your pain haven't experienced that poor service from BMW as I always insist they keep their "so called valeting guys" away from car as I point it very clearly no wash or hoover required because I like to detail my own cars for a reason plus I dont have to wait so long for the service!
