Strange Key Activity

Post by BullyB » Wed Mar 25, 2015 10:56 am

Is this normal...

I inserted the key and started the engine with the button on my 2008 E70 the other day and then stopped the engine again with the button as my wife needed to go back to the house.
With the key out, I pressed the button again and the engine started...?
I don't have keyless starting on the vehicle as it normally doesn't start without.

Was wondering if anybody else can do this..?

It's been reported before.  It isn't supposed to happen but owners have found it does!  There may be a time limit on it.
