Anyone fitted side steps to an M Sport?

BMW says they are not available because of the M Sport kit, but someone somewhere must have fitted something?

Would welcome any information

so no one so far has done this? My better half is finding the jump from a raised seat to the floor quite high, and will not let me put out some steps...

There has to be something!

Have a look on REALOEM and put the last 7 characters of your VIN in and see what options show up in the parts list.  Some Dealers do not know their way around their own parts database!
