Do you have to put money on the card, or is it like a charge card?

Other than a £20 annual fee for the card the electricity is free. Needless to say it will only remain free until the government is convinced that enough people have take on an EV. The problem comes when you factor in different suppliers, so may have to register with a number of companies to be covered.

Thankfully, it's nice and simple in NI, one supplier and free card, that covers the whole of the North and SoUthern Ireland.

Sorry to hear of your issues Don. That must have been one major ball ache. I'm with 535d on this one. Mine is never going to go further than the 4mile a a day round trip it takes me to drop kids off to my folks house... Who just so happen to also have a leaf and a charging point!

The most I've done is about 65 miles round trip which was comfortable enough

I had done 75 with the loaner but that ended at the house so top up available, although it was tight near the end. There are those that have achieved over 100 miles but I just couldn't be bothered trying.
