Moving On

Moving on - looks like the Model S is the only one available in the UK....

On a side note, upon moving into our new place in country, we get to meet neighbours. They inform us rather jokingly that their cat is a vicious animal called killer!!! and to tell children not to stroke it. To clarify, I am not a great lover of cats if totally honest, we have one, however it is the wife's and is a rescue cat which we had around 9 years ago after first getting together.

Any how, our cat tilly who is probably around 11 now and very much an indoors cat, comes to new house and after a week ventures outside. Upon which we see Killer ( that is its name ) attacking her quite horrifically!! with these results:

And a £330 vet bill to boot!! To say I am disgusted is a bit of an understatement. I haven't approached neighbors about this yet, but feel I want to. Not to recoup my £330, but just to let them be aware their hilariously named cat is capable of this!!
they clearly know its not a nice animal!! I am amazed to be honest there is no dangerous cats act after seeing poor Tillys injuries.

Genuine question, would anyone else go round and show them this pic? and let them know? or just leave it?

The family are selling up as he lost his job with a recent Oil Refinery closure in the area and is now moving to England with a new job. Should I go round?

You'll go round with the pic - get hurled a load of abuse and told to foxtrot oscar.

Really means what are you expecting to get out of this? An eye-opener for the owners (who don't give a sh!t).

No need to try and teach an old dog new tricks - you know they're a bunch of pr!cks.

Let them leave - get em on the last day. >:D

yeh only posted it as I wanted opinions if I am being over top in thinking of going round, just to let them know what the cat has done. At end of day if they have warned us to keep kids away from it then my 5 and 2 year old will be going no where near after this!!

Wow. That is a really serious injury and I think you should inform them that their cat was responsible. I'm no Jackson Galaxy but I'd say that Killer needs to be neutered as that's very aggressive for a non-feral cat and he may still have his cojones which are making him violent. We recently adopted another cat, a Maine Coon called Matilda, Tilly for short!

Icequeen, I was told this would be a good starting point to discuss everything via the vet regarding being neutered or not. The injuries really were shocking, vets said it is possibly the worst they have seen from another cat. Knowing its name etc, they clearly know its not a nice animal, I just want to make them aware of what the cat is capable of, and whether it is fair to put another animal through it in future potentially!!

Lets hope your Tilly enjoys the new home. Ours sadly not too impressed at the mo.
