Just did the Black Circles thing for 2 new rears (315 35 20) and going through Top Cash Back has got me 2 Diamaris for £440 fully fitted. 453 Tesco points as well.
They seem to have come down a lot as I recall they were around £350 each not so long ago. Perhaps a side effect of Oil prices.
Mine seem to have worn quite badly in the middle as there's plenty of tread on the outside edges. Suggests overinflation although they were set at 32 psi which is correct according to B pillar.
What are you running your rear 20's at. I'm going to drop mine to 30 and see how they go.

36 psi on mine, nearly ready for replacement and have worn very evenly.

Funny, I've had a few places tell me the rears should be way higher the book says. What is that makes people think heavy car means higher pressures. My winters wore badly on the inside inch or so of the tyre. That sux

Just as a point of interest gents,
The infamous X5 Front Tyre edge shredding can be ended forever, by fitting matching tyres and wheels all round.
The rear wheels will fit the front perfectly.
The foot-print is a little wider, no bearing wear, and a set of 30mm spacers at the rear wheels beefs the whole look & feel up nicely.
I put a new set or 285 tyres all round on 19" rims, excellent wear after 15,000 miles and totally good tyres still.
No front tyre scrubbing due to the bigger footprint, and even with the rear spacers, the rear set wearing evenly too.... and I drive my X5 very hard, very often.
I did initially run at 36psi all round, but the ride was so uncomfortable, so reduced back to 32psi... and a little more comfortable, with no adverse wear at either pressure, and a lot less of a hammering on the various suspension joints.

In the process of replacing my diamaras on the rear also Denis. Exact same symptoms as you. Plenty of treads at the side, worn to the warning mark on the middle. I've never over inflated them despite what the condition of the tyre suggests.
