Did a bit of googling on this and could only find American threads with terms I couldn't translate.
anyone able to help me ouT?
how do I check the speed probes are working ok?

Normally associted with an abs sensor failure. A plug in diagnostic tool such as scanner 1.4.0 will tell you which one.

I also had this problem with a knackered battery, check that as well.
As soon as I replaced mine I stopped getting the Gremlins.
