Hi guys.....i bought a march 09 x5 msport a few weeks ago....the idrive i have is not the one with all the buttons on the centre console. It just has the menu button and wheel.
Im looking to add connected drive for a year just to try it out. Ive spoken to a nice guy at bmw who told me i have these options fitted from new.....609....612....633(pro nav, bmw assist, prep mobile phone business).
He said he couldnt see exactly what type of services i could get, but i just looked on a VIN decoder site and its listed as having option 616 as well(bmw online)
So does 616 mean i will get some sort of internet browser (slow i know from reading other posts)
Just interested in what i will get for my £120

I think you will get Google Search but not much more, it's not a full browser though, and yes it is painfully slow!
