lol.
love it :))
(but it is all down hill so could always have coasted...!)

I was expecting the bit about the covers but the people i use are realists.

I always use the hand brake when parked. force of habit.
At traffic lights it is usually park hand brake and footbrake usually out of lazyness but also to ensure them idiots behind know i have stopped..
i knew it was pants anyway so i adjusted as much as poss the night before.
i need to give it a proper adjustment thou as i only tightened the cables to give it a chance.
It has new pads & shoes and front discs a few months ago so they are ok.

Good pointers.....some OTT IMHO (and no I don't want to start yet another debate on who/what/why/when/where and who is right/wrong)

Intend to use N and handbrake for stops of more than a few seconds.

I do this to keep the handbrake used and to avoid dazzling with rear brake lights.

Selecting P in traffic tends to scare the road user behind as I have to shift through R and illuminate the reverse lights.

strange.. mine has a pause before reverse lights come on.
can go from d to r to p without them coming on..
