Got the kit back from Baris on Saturday but unfortunately we had to revert to the original spec iPod cable. No big deal, just means I had to run the cable from the boot to the front and control the music via the iPod. I guess his lasted innovation had a few teething problems.
However, I am happy to report the digital TV upgrade is perfect, all speakers working, a vast improvement from what had originally! I went for the Stage 2 amp upgrade, with iPod connectivity and the stage 2 digital TV upgrade.
Was surprised on how easy it was to run cables from the boot well up to the front. Did a bit of research online and found a very handy youtube video showing the best route to run it.

I also invested in a set of trim removal tools which proved to be a great buy and very handy!
So the iPod cable is tucked up under the passenger seat and pokes up to the side of the seat. Left enough slack so that i can get a small mount on the dash, or I can just leave it in the centre console.
The infrared eye for the TV remote control follows the same route, past the seat, into the passenger footwell and the eye mounted just underneath on the left of the footwell. Wanted to get it a bit further up to be honest but the cable was just that little bit too short.
I also discovered a great way of getting to the 'hard to get to' bolts....use a 5 year old!
All in all very satisfied with the end result. I am happy I can have my entire music library in the car and can play my Metallica albums at full volume....and the kids are happy they have CBBC and CBeebies when we go out!
My 2 year old enjoying the in car entertainment.
Next on the list...rear screens.
