:hi: and hello.

A rare beast indeed.  If you do find one without a towbar, it's a straightforward fit that either you can do yourself or get a local firm to do.  Don't go near a BMW Dealer to fit it though as their charges are outrageous.

I have a manual gearbox...
But you'll have to build the rest of the car around it!!!!!

They are rare, and the year you are looking for, first gear wasn't up to much!!
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Rare to find in a nice spec as right or wrong many chose to not spec auto for initial cost reasons and thus few option boxes were ticked on many. I can't recall last time I saw one for sale with nice spec, good colour and trim plus decent apparent condition, acceptable history and with non starship mileage.

Good luck :)

Bear in mind that is an SE, absent of comms pack and alluminium running boards. The wording in relation to mileage, length of time owned by last keeper and references to it being looked after will no doubt be pleasing to some, however I note there is no mention of full service history.

Historically some have been wise to avoid paying auto comms and sport money for cars not so equipped and specced.

Not being negative here - the car, it's spec and any history may be everything the person buying this wants and offered for sale at a price they desire ;)
