Seen an x5

Post by class2ldn » Wed Jan 21, 2015 1:12 pm

Hi all, seen an x5 me and the Mrs are interested in

http://www.mccarthycars.co.uk/used-cars ... 515/bmw-x5

Seems quite expensive for an e53 although I notice it's one of the last ones, not really sure whether it's a good spec but looks ok.
I know there's cheaper about but this is quite close to us so definitely worth a look.  It's in the right colour aswell.
What do you guys think?
Cheers

+1 for being way over priced.  Mine sold via a BMW Dealer as an AUC car for that three years ago, and it was too much then (they actually wanted £16.5K!!).  Oh and mine was low mileage and was over £53k new so that example is well and truly OTT.

Well seen another one but it's miles away in York.

Saw this car on Auto Trader’s Android App. Thought you might be interested. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 1100063274

Has to have sat nav.
Did test drive an e70 last week at a bmw dealer and they wanted 22k for it on a 59 plate.  Didn't even have heated seats.
Just out of interest why didn't the e70 msport have the sidesteps as these look much better?

Hmm a tow bar, would never use it myself. Is it detachable?
Can you tell me what's non standard factory spec on it if anything?

Yeah anything youve added to it that might need to be declared over the standard factory stuff.
Spec looks great and my daughter would love the rear entertainment :)
Just needs the arches colour coded lol, no seriously looks great.
What issues have you had?
Where are you located?

Sorry for delay.  The car is factory standard.  Arches look great in black, breaks all silver up!! and aero kit really stands out on it.

We are based in Pembrokeshire.  In Wales, would travel to help sale.

Car has recently had a new Bosch starter motor, had an issue recently which suspected starter motor, replaced starter and still issue present [emoji23], turns out it was a loose battery cable!!! typical!!! ( thread on here about it ) Other than that, its had a rear airbag under warranty on rear suspension.  Thats it.  Will get some decent pics up soon!! infact will bump some of threads which have pics to show you!!
