I don't know but it was never mentioned before and he didn't say anything about throwing in as a good will gesture because of introducing you and James so I would hope so.

i hope they throw in gap insurance on mine?? lol, as I was going to take it out as a precaution.  Did they not mention me Don? as in buying off them? slightly worried now......lol, I've paid deposit, put my proposal form in, but other than that have done nothing else and not heard from Jacky??

My deal, was £124 a month, with £500 down, mileage dropped to 8,000 miles a year and dropped metallic paint.

That's a ridiculously cheap price.  I will only be doing 4-6k but didn't think to ask about any lower payments as I was very happy with the deal.  Although £34 less a month seems a lot to take off for paint and a couple of K.  I asked about a second car to see how cheap they could do it for me to use in Aberdeen. At first he said £500 down and £30 a month.............stupidly I questioned this as it seemed far to cheap, he then went away and came back blaming a glitch on the computer and said it was now £68 a month.........but before I could sign on the line he checked the system again to find a more realistic price of £172......this was for the lower spec model, go figure, more expensive than the top of the range car.

I reduced my mileage too which brought the price down as I won't be doing 10k/yr in it.

Oh well. Never mind.  On a side note I see you're being completly normal and asking serious questions on Leaftalk!  Seems sooo out of character!  For some reason, I'm all logged on but it won't let me post either threads or even replies.  I have contacted to site to get these restrictions lifted but nothing as of yet.

Is this deal still available? Never had a car on finance etc, What happens after the two years finance? Do you just hand them back in?

Option 1, hand car back
Option 2, pay the remaining balance and the car is yours
Option 3, if there is a higer trade in value than what's outstanding you can use this amount as a deposit on a new car.

Why are they so keen on PCP deals only and not cash?

On the Audi I bought, they offered 2 services, £1k discount (on top of negotiation) and 2 year warranty if you bought on finance, nothing on cash.

So I bought on finance, paid 2 months and paid it off. They did not mind.
