Re: alarm beeping help please
Loud Beeping with flashing hazards is alarm.....
There is no warbling effect on these..
It could be the internal sensors or voltage monitoring.
When you lock it next with the keyfob, press the lock button again for a second time.
This disables the internal & voltage monitoring.
See if it solves it.

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Re: alarm beeping help please
am a little confused if i open the bonnet and hold the bonnet sensor down with the finger then lock the car with the fob then once its armed if i then lift my finger of the sensor i get like a load proper sounding very load alarm go off. when it goes off by its self it sounds like s truck reversing but load not the same as then i set it off my self. i will try your idea and see what happends
Re: alarm beeping help please
i have did what you said locked it with the fob then press it for a 2nd time alarm still went off after a while
Re: alarm beeping help please
Did you ever get this sorted?
Sorry to bump the thread but mine has just started doing the exact same thing. Continuos beeping with hazards. It happens randomly. I've disconnected the bonnet sensor, and bought a new battery but neither have fixed the problem.
One thing is that like you I've had both front driver and passenger door handles freeze in the last week. By which I mean they might not open, or other days they would open, but not shut properly until the car warmed up.
Now, when the alarm goes off and I unlock the door, I notice the interior lights stay on, or after a few seconds they dim momentarily then immediately come back on. So Im wondering if it thinks a door is open when it isn't, and thats why the alarm keeps going off.
Ive read that the doors don't have a regular "door open switch" but it is part of the the door lock mechanism. Does anyone know if its in the carrier mechanism (the bit that holds the handles on) or in the latch mechanism (the bit that locks the door shut)?
Any other ideas very welcome
Cheers
Nick
