I put fishing in the same category as golf and have a guess where that is

Say that when you've got a 150lb Tarpon on the end of a 30lb class outfit for 1 1/2 hours. Add the fact that you are in 5ft of shark infested water on a 15ft boat with no side rails to keep you on board. Oh, almost forgot. 3.00 o'clock in the morning, so dark.

If you think that's dull then you are very odd.

to be honest i'm not into fishing but one of my mates is and ive been up to the local dam with him a couple of times in last 5 years, and found it quite relaxing, quiet, no phone, no people really, just pretty chilled out, as i say its not my ideal hobby and i cant tie hooks on or anything but really should be tried before been knocked ;)

But you said fly fishing for anything. You can catch big game fish with a fly you know.

Obvious you have no clue what your talking about otherwise you'd know what I was talking about.

He didn't claim to know, hence he has no interest in it!!

Most people's interpretation of this is old people sat under a blanket with one rod poking out to the water and the other rod being massaged under the blanket by the bloke sat next to him !!!

My boyfriend in 6th form was into carp fishing. I used to enjoy making him those strange flavoured balls, 'boilies' as bait that you could get loads of flavours for. We had a tent and a few beers it was quite fun tbh. Not a lot of fishing got done to be fair though  :)

Never got the hang of it..

Those bleeding flies were so hard to catch..... O:-)
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)
