I have mixed emotions about this as we bought it as we were about to have our first child and wanted a big car. We are now onto our third child and have just upgraded to a brand new Discovery 4 so the X5 has to go.
The car has been maintained to a level above and beyond the norm and a lot of the common X5 issues have been resolved/upgraded.

I am sure there are other things that have been done, but please ask if there are any questions.
This is a lovely example and cheap to run considering the power of the 4.4 V8 because of the LPG conversion, as LPG costs half the price of petrol so the car returns the equivalent of 38MPG, better than a diesel, but with no Turbo worries.
During our ownership we have had the misfortune of a delivery lorry reversing into the front of the car while it was parked and dented the bonnet and headlights. As I insisted on the repair being done by BMW this resulted in the car being a CAT D write off. However I kept the car and simply unbolted the front end and the bonnet and bolted on new ones from the 4.6is which I got the arches and bumpers from. (The damage was almost undetectable but I have photos of it all) This makes no difference to the car at all, but I have to be honest and declare it.
In terms of bad points the car has a couple of very minor marks on the paintwork, but considering its 13 years old its very tidy. I get a warning on the clocks "check brake linings" but they are all new and its simply a poor wiring connection somewhere which I have not got round to resolving.
This is a really lovely example of an X5 with a great spec and I hope someone can enjoy it as much as we have.
The car is in Wilmslow in Cheshire
Price is £5750
