Adblu millage top ups

Hi people just wondered what sort of mileage people are getting on a ten litre top up looks like I'm getting around 5k per 10 litres

Sounds like it, not sure where they get that it should only need refilling during a service visit!

How are you refilling it? Service station pump, mail order bottle or main dealer?

First one was main dealer second was bought from shell forecourt which includes filling nozzle dead easy

First top up was just over 5,000 miles for me. It's now done 13,000 miles and it's telling me I've got 6,500 miles left.

Not sure why it would improve this much...maybe it only comes with half a tank?!

The engine will be loosening which may be improving the emissions? I'm assuming the system can meter the amount it needs?

You could be right I guess think mine is taking a hammering because I have towed the caravan a lot with it since I got it

Richard, correct, there is an option in the iDrive that tells you both the approximate range left on the current level, as well as the volume required to brim the tank.

I've done about 1200 miles and the iDrive reckons I've still got 8k left and that it needs 2 litres to top up.

Yip mine says 10k for. Full tank but it does about 5 k not that accurate I guess

I just searched AdBlue and found and older thread and posted, I have just rolled over 6k miles and needs filling or topping up, I think it needs 11 litres according to the display...

Allforus: same question as the other thread, did you make yourself and funnel and buy the 10L top ups??

Actually bought the adblu from shell and it comes with the nozzle think it was £11:50 for 10 litres fill no problem
