Alloy side step covers.Q

Post by chelsea » Thu Dec 04, 2014 7:20 pm

I have a facelift without the alloy side steps, it has the standard plastic sills etc, can I just buy and fit some side step covers or do I need other stuff?
Thanks

If you go down the bmw route you need to buy all 4 arches side steps and 2 plastic trims each side(someone correct me if I'm wrong ) roughly costing  £500
or you can buy none genuine off eskip but they look abit crap imho , mine hasn't got the steps on , I was going to fit some because they look better with them but a friend of mine has a x5 with them on and he recons you always step over them rather than on them and always gets muck on his trousers (he's a short arse) lol and tbh I've got used to not having them.
