2010 Pro Sat Nav needs updating.

Hello,
I want the Professional Sat NaV on my 2010 E70 X5 40d updating.
How do i go about getting this done and how much will it cost?

You go to BMW and pay £25 for the 3 DVD set and then another £185 for the licence key!! It takes about three hours to load the maps.

Or you go to your Dealer and pay even more if they do it for you......like another £100 or so.

Pro Nav for the CIC type iDrive.

Might also be available in a USB key now too. Of course BMW charge extra for that.....well it's got a logo on it

Usb method is much quicker and less hassle than dvds and as Richard has said the dealers want big £'s for the maps update.

Negotiate with them.

I got the Porsche one done recently which was actually rather reasonable.
