stupidly good mpg

Post by shadrack » Tue Nov 18, 2014 8:43 pm

not as good as the title suggests but just done the ml63 , driving not even remotely for economy showing people the performance and just generally enjoying the noise but i got the following

fill up £98 of premium unleaded @ £1.39  (not brim full but pump stopped at that )

98/1.39= 70.5 litres
70.5/4.54= 15.52 gallons

320 miles done / 15.52 = 20.61mpg over the tank, now im thinking this is pretty good for the size of vehicle and engine

Yeah, sounds good.  All you need to do now is drive it like you stole it to see just how fast it can drink the gas?  ;)

I have been! I reached a certain limiter far to quickly on a obviously private non public road where the m3 would only do 80% of said limiter
