As above,
The drivers front speaker in my e53 (nav non dsp) is cutting in and out intermittantly all of a sudden, where do I start?
After much research I have come to the conclusion it may be the BM54 amp, how can I test this before sending it for repair?
Chances are I shall be sending it to have the upgrade as I would like to add a sub, but Im not going to be happy if I send it off only to realise that I still have a speaker problem.
Any advice, as always is greatly appreciated.

Front speaker intermittant
Re: Front speaker intermittant
The only way I can think of is to test the output on the speaker cable in the door and see if you connect to
another if you still get the intermittent operation.
But to be honest, I think for the cost to have the upgrade done, you might as well do it anyway, I'm just
about to send a 2/h unit I bought away to get upgrade done anyway
