any bmw owners in the west yorkshire area?

Post by a2ssm » Sat Oct 18, 2014 6:42 pm

Hi all.

I'm new to the x5.  I currently own a lovely bmw x5 4.8is.

I have recently converted the rear suspension to standard coil springs.  The front ones had been converted previously. it still has the suspension inact warning light.
Does anybody have the bmw 1.4.0 scanner and would you be able to help me remove the light from the dash?

Also i have the air tubes on the back that i can't remove.  Anybody have any idea how to get these off?

Thank you

I'm in Leeds too. Unfortunately, Im dangerous from the Elbows down and have had the car less than a month so can't help much other than to say don't let oils consumption worry you too much, it's apparently normal.

As per PM just tuck the lines out the way as its too much hassle trying to pull them through the bodywork etc.
