Switch your ip to a USA IP and you can watch Netflix from the U.S. store.

Doing the same to be able to watch top gear or so whilst not in the UK,  then just swap to a UK IP.

Nice! I wonder if I can configure that within my Smart-TV itself. I'll take a look into it.

IQ:
OEM = "Original Equipment Manufacturer", which usually refers to the original components that come with the car (sometimes referred to as 'stock'). If something is said to have an OE or OEM look, it usually refers to it looking so good that it looks like it came like that from factory (as opposed to a relatively cheap aftermarket look).

Not many takers for the "tunes I like to drive to" idea, but I'm willing to take the risk of having the p1ss taken out of me:

- Paninaro 12inch by the Pet shop Boys
- Blue Monday (12 inch) by New Order
- Tainted Love / Where did our love go remix - Soft Cell
- Automaton - Howard Jones
- A forest - The Cure

All a bit old, but my 4 year old keeps me up to date with the trendy stuff.

I use Napster via my phone and the BMW app - it works a treat.

It'll be allright in the end. If it isn't allright it isn't the end

Thank you! Personally, music can really enhance my driving experience so I thought it quite an interesting topic, if a bit touchy-feely. Some great choices, haven't heard the Howard Jones one.
Paninaro really brings back memories -I loved it years ago but haven't heard it for ages so off to Spotify I go...

Ok, I can dig a good riff, even if the singing is German!
Will give that a listen. Pink Floyd are genius so my dad says, but the only one I know about was the song where on the cover of the record, children are going into a giant mincer! Brick in the Wall?
Anyway, thanks for keeping the thread going!  :D

For me it's very varied.

I can listen to most music (heavy metal being the only one I really don't get along with).

Generally speaking if musically it hits the right notes I'll listen to it.

So:

Hotel California (Eagles)
Beautiful Day (U2)
When Doves Cry (Prince)
1999 (Prince)
Orinoco Flow (Enya)
Twisted (Keith Sweat)
No Ordinary Love (Sade)
Street Tuff (Rebel MC)
Confessions (Usher)
The way I are (Timbaland)
Morning after dark (Timbaland)
Danza Kuduro (Lucenzo & Qwote)
I Got U (Duke Dumont)
Wake Me Up (Avicii)

A very small sample of what I like to listen too.

RnB, Hip Hop, Dance, etc, etc

Wow Raj, some goodies there and I am also having a listen to some of the tracks you guys have mentioned that I haven't heard. Might discover something I love. Love me a bit of Prince, favourite is Little Red Corvette,
Street Tuff!! Love! Another one I'm going to re-discover and Spotify, and Sade....her voice is exquisite.
I'm getting to know everyone a bit better through the music they listen to  :)
Thanks  :D

And don't forget some of the Classical stuff too.

There's Ride of the Valkyrie if you're in an aggressive mood, or Capriccio Italien if you aren't....

I've got about 2.5k tracks on my iPhone and have very wide tastes.  It just depends upon the mood, and I just go through the list until I find one that feels right at that time.

Have only got a few classical tracks, nearest I get is quite a bit of Mambo and Salsa. Flores Para ti is great in the sunshine.
I thought I had a lot of tunes at just under 1000. You've definetly got something for every mood!
Will check out Capriccio Italien.

Well, if its classics then I'd recommend:

- Oh mio babbino caro - Puccini
- Che gelida manina - Pucinni
- La mamma morta - Giordano
- Dance of the Knights - Prokofiev

Thes are all well known tunes (I'm no classical buff) and sound great at high volume :)

Oh and Paninaro - It's the remix version on "Disco" that i know. Takes me back to driving fast in a VW scirocco GTX on a single track road in Perthshire (late 80's). I think with most older tracks, its the memories it brings with it that contributes so much to why we like it.
