new x5 with 3 keys?????
new x5 with 3 keys?????
My new to me 05 x5 came with 2 ignition keys and another key....any ideas what the 3rd key does??

If it's grey plastic it is as the manual says. Spare key for storage in a safe place, such as in your wallet.
This key does not fit in the lock of the glove compartment. This is an advantage in a hotel, for example. The key is not intended for continuous use.
