Good bye X5 - hello Cayenne :)

Any update on the car ?

Indeed It is here and I personally love the thing. It feels like a sports car on higher wheels! Very agile and nippy indeed and the interior is a class apart. However an the big however is that my wife hates it compared to her X5
She loved her 360 degree camera which this car does not have! She isshit scared of damaging the awesome Turbo 2 21" alloys without that facility! Another thing that bugs her to no end is the bad design of the £900 optioned side steps and I must admit I think they are naff too! You have to stretch alot to exit the car as they are in an awkward place - pretty ok for me to handle but with her shorter legs she alwya ends up dirtying her jeans or legs :'(
The Pro Sat Nav on the e70 was also way better than the PCM system which if ignored goes a bit mental before bringing you back on track! She got lost near the shard the other day as the Nav GPS lost it's way and she ended up screaming at me over the phone as to why I sold hwr car for no reason that has never happened in the X5 never!
Over all I personally prefer the Cayenne but she does not...is it a matter of who wears the trousers now hmmmm let's see how things pan out but she has asked me to take her to test drive the new X5
I shall post some pics of the Cayenne once clean...it's black and is a dirt magnet!

I've tightned my belt this weekend lol Have asked Porsche how easy it is to remove the side steps in a way it's probably better as I could add the sport design side skirts which make it look even more aggressive
if only I could retrofit top view cam....sigh
