I heard that they were producing silver paint in their factory one day, when they had a water leak through the roof. Nobody noticed it until the paint pots went onto the production line and started spraying out metallic brown with a hint of green. The paint manufacturer then conducted a full investigation, upon which it was found that the water originated from the toilet upstairs overflowing, caused by a chap who blocked it and didn't own up to it.

The paint mixing company then told BMW it was a new, experimental colour that was fully biodegradable. BMW bought the story and bought the paint, and now that bloke has a job for life with a lifetime supply of vindaloo.
