Hi all
how do you connect to the av on the tv screen in the front
is it plug and play or do you need to splice cables
There only seams to be blue plug, white plug and two coax leads
Basically i have dvd/monitors in the headrests and was wanting to link one of them up to the front
so as the dvd plays it comes on the front screen aswell
thanks in advance

Re: connecting to av on tv screen
Hi Sturach
Here are the actual pin configurations, you can buy the pins from BMW and make your own cable using pins 4,5,6 and 15 on the white plug
or you can buy one of these cables and just plug and play
but make sure you get one with reverse camera capabilities if you have one fitted.

hope this helps

Re: connecting to av on tv screen
Would you still need to have the TV in motion enabled to make this work whilst on the move??

Yes
You can buy a tv in motion cable, from Toys in Your Car, which is similar to the one in my above post or you can activate it with a Resler and some software ( Navcoder )

Re: connecting to av on tv screen
Hi
thanks i'll have a look at that
I have tv in motion enabled by scanner
i also have the toys in your car tv in motion lead which i've now removed which i might put in the sale forum
The problem is the freeview signal is crap (passenger only !!!) so i thought the dvd idea would be better for long journeys

I bought the lead but my reverse camera wnet off so I made up that part of the lead and added it to the lead.
I have a 100gb hard drive / media player installed and my signal was very poor so i added something similar to one of these boosters and everything was then fine.
