Andrive AN39 - now sold

Post by DaveB » Tue Sep 30, 2014 9:46 am

Now I've got my phablet install working I no longer need my Andrive so it's for sale if anyone is interested. It's a year old, in perfect working order and I'm selling it with the 5m FAKRA cable you need to fit it to an X5. I'm also including my small harness that means you can get it working with the DSP and SATNAV.

It all comes in it's original box with all the various cable options including the steering wheel control and wifi dongle. It's currently running Android 4.0.4 - Ice Cream Sandwich.

The full specs are here http://www.andrive.co.uk/android_bmw_e39.php

I'm looking for £300 which is less than half what I paid for it and can ship it at cost if needed.

If you haven't got DSP etc then it's an easy fit. You just need the remove the old head unit, thread the 5m FAKRA cable through to the back and plug it in. The new head replaces your existing CD/DVD, radio, TV tuner (it's digital freeview) bluetooth inc phone.

Cos it's a rooted Android system you can pretty much do what you want. You can run TomTom and any Android apps. Plug the wifi dongle in and you connect to your home network.

Check out the Andrive site for all the details.

I'll buy that if it's still available. How's the screen angle in the brighter light ?
