Okay I need to get the tie rods done
But I find these tyres are harsh, tramline and follows the ruts in the road really badly
Makes the steering feedback twitchy over uneven surface?

Anyone else find this?

I also have bridgestones on front. I do find every now and then they tend to follow the road, more so on newer roads where it angles or has a strong camber if you no what I mean ?? still drive on same roads but It did feel worse in some of my previous sports cars but never ever noticed it in my range rover sport.! odd now I think about it  :-[

also why we on about tyres, when I purchased my X5 from stratstones, it was an approved car but I have always wondered why it has bridgestones on the front and dunlops on the rear  O:-)
they were all just about brand new but I kind of think the previous owner had new tyres on front or rear for mot and then when they traded it in shortly afterwards, stratstones then put new tyres on the other axle ??  WHY an earth didn't they put the same make on all round ???

ps tyres are all runflats.

I have the same setup with Dunlop on the rear
Find these okay

Just unsure if its suspension bushes, adaptive drive or rft bridgestone causing the way it does, like you mention too

I think as long as same brand on same axle then fine.
Ie I probably won't replace with dunlops up front just to match the rear

Thinking non rft for better ride and feedback

Perhaps one pair wore out and were replaced and the right tyres were not available?

I always keep the same manufacturer on all corners.  Standard from factory would be Dunlop, Bridgestone or Continental if I remember correctly.  My X6 has Dunlops all round but the X5 seems to be more often fitted with the Bridgestone.

actually had bridgestones on my e61 5 series and hated those in 18" vs. 19" non rft I had which had falkens upfront and khumo on the back

look forward to getting my tie rods fitted and wheel alignment and then in the future get rid of the bridgestones

I think fixing your tie rods is only fair before blaming the tyre......even a bad wheel alignment (eg lots of toe in) will cause the car to pull off centre more readily.
