Piano Black bull bars for sale or trade

Piano Black bull bars just taken off my X5 e53.  There is some marking to the finish.  But good condition.

No idea of price but believe they came from the USA.  Understand they quite pricey.  Held on by three bolts.  Sorry no idea about fitting as such but easy to take off.  Two bolts under front bumper with brackets and self tapping bolt into front bumper.  Only had my car a few days so learning about X5 so not sure what else it would fit.

Are bullbars still legal?  Don't see them much these days - I guess the bulls have learned to stay clear of cars by now.

They are legal as long as they aren't old steel metal ones.  These are bmw oems ones.  They are off to ebay shortly.

Slightly off topic, but believe you have made a good choice to take them off.  Look ok on pick ups etc but naff on X5s

They do still need to have the EU approvals which US ones may not have.  If not then illegal to sell.

Presume they are legal as passed last two mots.  BMW part three years old.  But as I am unsure I better scrap them.  Only just purchased the car that had them on

NOW SOLD. 

Lost the will to live reading rules re bull/nudge bars and legality of fitting selling.  Despite these appearing well in spec for the EU.  They have no EU marks and I didn't fit or buy them so no paperwork.  So buyer is my friend  who is up cycling them to be used in her tack room for hanging horse rugs on.  To well made to throw away so they have found an alternative home.
