All weather rubber mats, any good?

Post by celica » Sat Sep 27, 2014 8:16 pm

As the wet weather is looming and kids enjoying muddy puddles I'm thinking of some rubber all weather mats at the rear to save the carpet ones

Any thought?

Rubber mats can be easily shaken off or rinsed.

I prefer genuine factory items because I think after market mats really cheapen looks.

Genuine ones on E53 can be anchored using same factory anchor points though I simply have mine loose and over the top of the factory carpet mats.

Basically well worth it if muddy shoes regularly getting into your car.

You can of course store them in milder weather and use then seasonally - a bit like winter tyres.
