bootlid not closed error

Post by rodg98133 » Wed Sep 24, 2014 4:46 pm

Right sorted out all my other error messages but just got the bootlid error left.
Where is the sensor located?
Can I bypass it if its a faulty sensor by connecting the wires together or breaking them?
Not really got money for a new sensor but its the only error left and its bugging me :)

Its part of the upper boot catch assy.
You can remove it and give it a clean as it is fairly rudimental..

Shouldn't cost you much to do but time to do it...
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)
