silver or carbon trim with a cream interior

Post by rodg98133 » Sun Sep 14, 2014 8:21 pm

Anyone got any pics of this colour combination? At the minute we have cream interior with horrible wood trim. I was thinking or wrapping it but dont know if it will look right.

I've just wrapped my silver trim I've got grey leather here's a couple of pics.
Will take a couple more if you want now I've finished the Centre console and steering wheel.

Do you have to remove these bits to cover them? Is it easy to get them out?

The only bits i removed were the bits on the doors as they just pop off (lift from pointy end first as there is a clip on the flat end)
The rest of the parts i just took my time with and wrapped them in the car (look up how to remove them all and you'll see why!) the centre console alone took about 40 minutes. Just make sure you have a sharp knife so you dont tear instead of cut O_O

As for silver or black I personally would choose black buts its down to individual taste...

That's really good, I've seen some shockers - one had bright red trim that looked dreadful IMHO, nice to know its possible to change it out

That looks really good with the beige. I wasnt sure if it would go. How hard was it to do it in place?

personally I wouldnt recomend doing it with the trim still attached. I can only imagine how challenging the centre console must have been especially when trying to stretch and manipulate the wrap.
Also wrap has a tendancy to lift, so unless the wrap goes properly round the back you will see over time the trim beginning to come off.

If you remove all the trim pieces and get them dipped by a company who specialises in hydrographics, its worth pricing it all up.
