Was this recently
Really surprised. As a few years ago it was all praise about Simon @ emaps
Maybe he's taken his business hat to other ideas and away from remapping?

Yes ,it was a couple of weeks ago. I got the feeling he just didn't like working on e70's by his total lack of interest .
Jason at BW was a completely different kettle of fish , you could tell it was not only his job but he had a genuine interest in our cars .
Phone them both and make your own mind up ; both do get great feedback

Fair enough
Wander if its e70 or lack of interest in general at emaps?

Re: Anyone with an Emap on X5?
Emaps get great reviews from guys on the BMWland forum.
I will probably be using either Jason at BWchiptune or Rich from Oscarli though to do our E70 as they have great experience of doing dpf delete software.

are you near either of these?

[/quote]I have a 57 plate 3.0d (managed to get one of the later ones on the cheaper road tax).
BWchiptune are probably an hour away but quite local is BMW specialist MVT in Poole and they are an Oscarli dealer, they did our old 320d.
Rich Washbrook from Oscarli used to work for Forge Motorsport and then Revo doing there maps and then he went on his own.
