The rear lights look fresher on newer model and even the 3.0d has more rectangular round edge pipes filling the gap

Have a look on Realoem and at the part numbers. Some LCI (facelift) parts can be retrofitted. I know on my X6 I can have the later rear lights retro'd but the car needs some recoding to allow for the LED changes in the cluster.
You may find the same is possible between the non-LCI/LCI versions of the E70 too.
Look in the lighting section for any retrofits. No idea about the bumper and exhausts, though it might also be possible
