anyone see this on news?? there is a video of the x5 by the side of train, driver completely un hurt, its not an e53, its newer shape. not anyone

Lucky driver. Used to live near there in Saxmundham and have travelled that line many times. Trains are always going slow there if I remember the location correctly, but a lucky escape nevertheless.

I saw the alert on the train delay pages, 'problem at level crossing' if I remember correctly.

Sooo, whas it a faulty crossing, a broken E70 or an impatient driver trying their luck? Certainly was lucky whatever the cause and it's testament to the strength of these BMWs.

I'm sure it won't be long before the media (or other delinquents) try and create a link between BMW drivers and this type of accident :poke:

Was damn lucky either way.

Of course you could blame the train driver as I don't expect he/she had sought the permission of the BMW driver to cross what should have been his road. The train should have waited. It's terrible how these others just assume they can get on all of our roads without permission isn't it........ :D :driving:
