E53 X5 3.0D (184) V belt diagram
Does any body have a diagram for the v belt routing for the Alt, water pump, belt. My power steering pump is on the top right and I can only find a diagram that shows the power steering pump on the bottom right. Belt snapped so I don't have routing before. Belt was replaced 2 weeks ago and went again yesterday, suspect water pump maybe on the way out, hopefully find it damaged to reduce head scratching!!Cheers

Have you looked on Real OEM put the last 7 digits of your chassis number in and it should bring up the spec for your car then look under engine and belt drive.
Hope this helps

Another option might be to use the 'BMW M57 ribbed belt routing' into your favourite search engine and select the images choice. Quite a few come back so you may find something of use....

Cheers for the replies. Have found one that looks as though correct with the amount of idlers pulleys etc but could be marked up wrong.
Anybody had a similar issue. All components are nice and free with acceptable wear movement. Thought first snap was due to condition of belt but now not 100% on that. Should the tensioner be replaced as part of belt change?
Cheers
