Hi all , just picked up my 2011 X5 40d , already done 250 miles in 3 days , what an absolutely fabulous car!

Traded it in for my pride and joy , a 2012 Golf R - pocket rocket that did 0-60 in 3.8 (DSG and 380bhp)

Had a lovely country lane blast in the X5 with the mrs following in the 996turbo and she couldn't stay with me 

These things really do go and handle well for such a big car and couldn't believe it when I averaged almost
36mpg this morning on a 60mile drive .


Just needs a map now !
