My 4.8is has Alpina clocks as per photo - but the 4.8is not come standard with Alpina wheels, they were optional extras. The engine in the 4.8 is an oil cooled Alpina based engine and has the twin exhaust outlets but no other Alpina bits I am aware of.

Definitely never been an Alpina E53 albeit the 4.6is engine based on unit in Alpina B10 V8 E39 and 4.8is lump based on lump in Alpina B10 V8s E39. I seem to recall the engines are pretty much same spec as the Alpina E39 units. I think the clocks shown may be aftermarket with Alpina logo fitted. I may of course be wrong. Oh and head gasket is superior on the 4.6is compared to the B10 V8 item - hence some alpina owners retro fitted same to their B10 cars.
