Your car looks amazing and as you say a top spec, I hope you get what you want for it.

thanks, I'll probably garage it and hang on to it if it doesn't sell. as may be evident from the photos, space will be a bit tight for 4 cars!!

Interestingly your car has a space saver wheel, where as both of my E53's came with a standard wheel, albeit a 17" straight of the se model. I wonder why?

No idea, might ask a BMW parts guy I know, the wheel looks new, might have a look tomorrow to see if it has a part number. On the 4.8 is I assume you'd need 18"/19" because of the brake calipers. The wheel looks like it's never been used.

That will be it. The diesels could use 17" wheels but not your car, as you say 18 or even 19" wheels where the smallest available and these would have all been wider than the stock 17"s. Mystery solved.

Lovely example. 40k @ 9 years vs. mine at the same age (55 plate) with 121k!
Never seen one so fully loaded. Would be interested to know the original invoice amount! How many owners since new?
First time I have seen the electric rear seats too.
I would potentially fancy going for this, but the thirst would me down. I have company fuel, so it's not so much the cost, more the chore of stopping much more often - I tire of topping up every 550 miles as it is! )
Thanks for the detailed insight.

Thanks for your comments. I don't have the original invoice but do have the print off from BMW detailing the specification on the car. I'm going to contact BMW this week to get all the old bills etc/purchase invoice if available etc. i suspect £80-90k new?
I doubt there'll be many bills given the mileage. The v5 is with the DVLA but from memory 3 previous owners.

Lovely example with a great spec- only item missing from your list is the Webasto parking heater. GLWTS if you do decide to move her on.

where would it be located? anyway of knowing if you have or haven't got it? that does sound like a handy option!

Its in the engine compartment, upper right side ad you look under the bonnet. The nav screen will give the aux ventilation / heating option. Its brilliant in winter, worth checking if there is one as car is so well specced with
every other option.
every other option.
