Post by Fostersice » Fri Aug 15, 2014 9:50 pm

I see that post but there was only one talked about and that stemmed to be 1st gen

There is 3w 5w 20w 40w single or split
£16 to £79

I would have thought this would be one of the must popular upgrades and it needs no skills

I would just buy the £79 ones but more expensive doesn't mean better when it comes to ebay lol

The real thing to bear in mind is that as yet nothing out there will give you the brightness of the current BMW OEM LED halos.

And you're right, more cost does not necessarily = more light.

That's why the sites is the best place to ask as different people have tried and tested making the good stand out and the crap be left alone ;-)

I changed mine and although they are a blue white I can't say I'm impressed and as the lights are switched to auto they never come in anyway. Been a bit of a pointless although cheap change for me. If you could change to having running lights on permanently with auto lights that would be lots better. Maybe you can??

I'm looking into doing them as day time running lights and just have the main lights on the auto lights
