Dab Radio

Dab radio is not working. NO signal. Any settings that need changing, software update ! as i read somewhere about dab +

It's on national and regional and set to switch to fm if signal is lost so it's just been on fm.

I take it you have coverage from DAB transmissions locally, and the transmitter is not undergoing maintenance? The signal is 1/10th of the power of the VHF FM Services or less.

Other than the aerial having fallen off, I can't think of anything obvious. DAB+ not avail in UK yet and needs a different receiver.

Is it on manual tune? Manual tune may mean it's listening on the wrong multiplexes and frequencies in your area. I have a different iDrive and having just crippled my spine again it's a bit difficult to get to the car at present to get the manual out.

I know what you mean about going and having a play too......

I can't even sit in mine at present as it looks like I might have a damaged disc in my spine which means strong drugs and no driving. I had a disc repaied a couple of years back and it may be that I now need another one fixing

I could not drive for a year and now I have an X6 with only 600 miles on it........

Got it working, went into aux settings changed them and hey presto got sound and pretty dam good it is Don't know what i done though
Also found out the keys are independent as i used the spare key evereything was topsy tervy
