Folding mirrors

Post by Dr C » Thu Jul 31, 2014 9:51 am

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the wing mirrors settings so that they automatically fold out when you unlock the car, and automatically fold in when you lock it?

TIA

Scott

It probably is but you may find that no Dealer will do it for you.

You need to be able to get into the car's underlying coding to turn a function on.

Have a check on http://bmwcoders.com as that is a good source for many things around coding.

Mine fold in if you hold the lock button for approx 5 seconds, then auto fold out when you open the car, do yours not do this?

Also hold the unlock button and the windows and roof will open. And if open, walk awaya nd hold the lock button and everything should close and mirrors fold.
