Quad Exhaust Tips

Post by kay323 » Wed Jul 16, 2014 1:01 pm

Hello

Wanted to do the oval tip upgrade on my 3.0sd.  Just saw the quad tips which I think look really good.  Has anyone done this to their E70's?

If it's done the same way as the BMW kit then you cut the pipes either side of the rear silencer and either clamp or weld the new tips in place.

You may well also need new tail trims in the rear bumper to fit the new tailpipe shape.  These will need painting and glueing in place to match.

I assume you won't need the trims to get twin pipes in?
