Sway bar links
Sway bar links
Well both links were delivered today and I intend on fitting them Tommorow. Has anyone done these before, they dont look to difficult but thought I would ask incase there are any tips. Will do some photo's and maybe put together a "how to" if all goes well. Just hope the weather holds out

Re: Sway bar links
If you mean the tall drop links by the wheel i haven't done those yet so a how too would be helpfull for the future .
I did change the rear sway/anti roll bar bushes and little drop links while back to stop the sqeaking....
If it is those it's a pretty straight forward job to do but use some penetrating oil on the bolts as they get pretty shi@y under there and i ended snaping one of the fixed ones off and had to drill through and fir a normal nut and bolt
BTW.... i haven't forgot about checking those hoses.....i actually put the x in the garage last night to have a quick shufty for you and then noticed a large puddle of water by the front wheel after an inspection i found that the headlight washer hose had come loose (probably never put it back right when i did replaced the bumper after doing the pdc's ) so then ended up spending my friday drinking time loosening the bumper taking out the headlight so's to get to the sucker and put it back together...........needless to say that when i had put it all back together and finished about 10pm i thought fu@k the dweeb i'm going in for a shandy ,,,,especially as when i tested it the bas@@rd hose shot off and all the water from the just filled resevoir pis@ed out all over the floor .
Right now i've had my rant if i get chance i'll have a look tomorro fella

Re: Sway bar links
lol, had a good evening then. Done the front sway links today with no real trouble other than I needed to get the grinder out to cut one of the bolts off. Truck feels loads better and I dont have the cluncking sound so spot on. The only other thing is that i noticed the front tension arm bushes are on their way out so thats next!!! cheers The Dweed
