Ought to say hello!

Post by moar » Mon Jun 16, 2014 6:04 pm

I have recently purchased an X5 05 3.0d because...well why not?! It has every option ticked and the owner had it from new, so I just couldn't resist. Should be collecting it very very soon !!

I am also a BMW MT, I cover dealerships up North fixing random BMWs that the dealership is struggling with.

A very warm welcome from me! Especially to a MT (yes I'm sucking up)!

Every option ticked? That's a challenge! Go on then, some of the rare ones for you - rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, rear blinds? Pano roof is another - got em? :))

Oh and I need pics!  :)

Welcome aboard officially.

Agree with Sanj, would like to see the spec list for sure.

I'm still shy of a couple.

Double glazing being the most rarest I think. Think only MrMaloo has that option lol.

Ok Slight exaggeration! A good spec.

It does have the pano roof, rear heated seats, privacy glass not blinds.

I'm not reading all that - give me the shorter version otherwise it doesn't count!

And bollox, you're right Raj (as usual) the glazing must be the least spec'd option. Sure MrMaloo isn't a diplomat? Bet his mpg is shit! :))

:hi:

You must know all the secret codes and tricks for those with the appropriate software too....

Nice spec car too.

With any luck 535dboy will be along soon bragging about his expensive Skoda...... >:D, and running down anything that weighs more than a ream of paper, burns diesel, has a turbo, has a BMW badge (though his handle is a giveaway) and isn't an Aldi...... >:D
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Yes, I am trained in DIS and ISTA D P. I am also familiar with INPA and use it myself as it is twice as quick to get going.

I am also familiar with the PA SOFT 1.4 and V2.

Well in that case, you'd have thought you'd have got a car with heated steering wheel  ::)

This comment was of course tongue in cheek albeit with a smidge of realism.

I was mostly after a superb condition car, didn't take a great deal of attention at the spec. I can retrofit anything I like  8)
